It is known as America's National Pastime. For more than a century, the game of baseball has long been a passion for people worldwide. Every summer, millions of fans go out to support their local teams as they begin the grind of the regular season and a potential World Series championship run. To be with our teams through the ups means a lot more when you're with them through the downs. The rebuilding process can be grueling, but if the outcome leads to a championship, it is well worth it.
Baseball has been known to unite. The game transcends all races, religions, languages, and countries. It can make you forget about your troubles and just enjoy the game for what it is: an absolute beautiful treasure. Singing "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" during the 7th inning stretch along with thousands of other fans is a wholesome experience. Also, absolutely nothing compares to a World Series Game 7 or a walk-off home run.
Simply put, we cannot take this game for granted.
