There is nothing like Philly sports. Absolutely nothing at all! You can always count on the Wells Fargo Center, home of the Philadelphia 76ers, to be electric every single night.
On this night, the Sixers were playing the San Antonio Spurs. This meant that I would be seeing a few basketball legends not playing, but coaching on the sidelines for the Spurs. NBA legends such Gregg Popovich and Tim Duncan along with WNBA legend Becky Hammon are among the San Antonio Spurs' coaching staff.
They were also debuting their "new" throwback '70s style uniforms, which did look cool and they still do. The Sixers ended up winning this game by a score of 115-104. The game was basically in the Sixers' command the whole 48 minutes of game time. When the Sixers closed out the win, you already know that "Here Come the Sixers" the Sixers' theme song, began blasting through the speakers. Such is tradition whenever the Sixers win a game. As always, the Wells Fargo Center and Philly Faithful rose and went wild!
I know for a fact that the first game fans are allowed back in, Well Fargo Center will be absolutely ELECTRIC! Go Sixers!
